Superstitions




Superstitions are things you believe without any reason. For example, some people think that if you find a four-leaf clover, you will have good luck.

In my hometown, people believe that you should never put a hat on your bed - it is very bad luck!

    When I was a child, my grandmother would often say to me,“If we whistle at night, a thief will come in our house!”

    Probably,people believe this superstition in my home town.

    When I was a child, my grandmother often said that if you put on a bowl or a colander, you would not grow taller. My friends also seemed to be said that by their parents. Probably it was something like advice.
    I has followed the advice sinse then, so I grew very well!

    When I was a child, I was told not to clip my nails at night by my family. There are many idea about this superstition. One of that is that if you clip your nails at night,when your family was dying, you couldn't meet them. It is very interesting for me!
